On 12 March WO Barker, who had recently taken over as Officer in Charge, enrolled the latest intake of cadets and at the same time promoted cadets Farrand and Sporle to the rank of Corporal after both had successfully attended a Junior Development and Leadership Course.
On Thurs 4 April, Sqn Ldr Breward presented badges to a number of cadets who, since their enrolment, have passed assessments in a variety of subjects to become First Class cadets. Recipients of these badges were cadets Akers, Blackmore, Boyd, Calver, Lennartsson, Morrison, T, Osborne, Wales, Warren and Zaczek
For success in their Leading exams, badges were also presented to cadets Blake, Cook, Gardner, Hupe, Major, Morrison, J, Steptoe and Ward.
Finally for exam success at the highest classification level, Cpls Woollard and West were presented with their Master Air Cadet badges.
Having reached the necessary qualifying standard, Cpl Woolard and Cdt Gardner were then awarded their Wing Marksman badges.
All these cadets should be congratulated whatever their level of achievement and it is hoped that with a squadron of now nearly 50 cadets further successes should be on the horizon.
