Remembrance Parade 2010

On Sunday 8 November, cadets from 966 (Wallingford) Squadron attended the Remembrance Sunday Parade in Wallingford Town Centre.

A total of 27 Air Cadets attended the yearly parade in Wallingford, during which the town joins the country to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and civilians in times of war.  This year’s parade included a service in the town square and the ceremonial laying of wreaths upon the war memorial during which the names of the local fallen were read out.

Personnel from RAF Benson were present at the parade  and also the local Army Cadets, Scouts and the  Mayor of Wallingford.
